Alox (Aluminium Oxide) is the most common type of abrasive. It is an excellent starting point for most applications. It is the ideal solution when you want the ability to resist fracturing and medium aggressiveness. It is durable, with resistant cutting edges, showing continuous wear.
Stronger and relatively rigid compared to J cloth, X cloth is used in products designed for medium and coarse grains and material removal and finishing applications. It is one of the standard cloths used by all manufacturers.
Stronger and more resistant to breaking and cutting, the Y cloth is a support used in products designed for severe applications, usually in belts. It is usually made of polyester to ensure greater mechanical resistance.
