Abrasive Zirconium (Zr)
Grits P24 – P120

Shape Flat or Conical

Zr (Zirconium) is the type of abrasive grain suitable for coarse to medium particle size applications on metal, making it an excellent choice for demanding applications, for example on stainless steel. It works best under high pressure, which is necessary for the grain to break, exposing new sharp edges. It is a type of abrasive that has large fracture planes and self-sharpens during the cut.

There are several types of structures for flap discs, namely fiberglass, plastic or metal, the first being the most common.

The indicated grits are the most common for the operations in question, but do not exhaust the available alternatives. We will be happy to help you find the best solution for your case.

The most common dimensions are 115 and 125 mm, but there are others such as 100, 150 and 180 mm.

In terms of shape, there are two types of discs: type 27 (flat), which has a flat face, and type 29 (conical), which has an angular face.
