Felts and cloths are products for final polishing of parts and are normally used with soaps, pastes or other polishing fluids.

There are several types of structures for flap discs, namely fiberglass, plastic or metal, the first being the most common.

The most common dimensions are 115 and 125 mm, but there are others such as 100, 150 and 180 mm.

In terms of shape, there are two types of discs: type 27 (flat), which has a flat face, and type 29 (conical), which has an angular face.
