Alox (Aluminium Oxide) is the most common type of abrasive. It is an excellent starting point for most applications. It is the ideal solution when you want the ability to resist fracturing and medium aggressiveness. It is durable, with resistant cutting edges, showing continuous wear.
Zr (Zirconium) is the type of abrasive grain suitable for coarse to medium particle size applications on metal, making it an excellent choice for demanding applications, for example on stainless steel. It works best under high pressure, which is necessary for the grain to break, exposing new sharp edges. It is a type of abrasive that has large fracture planes and self-sharpens during the cut.

In addition to the diameters indicated, there are others available, such as 100, 230, 300, 350, 400, 500 mm.

Thicknesses between 0.8 and 4.0 mm are common.

The most common hardnesses range from Q to V (hardest).

Grits on cutting discs typically range from 24 to 60 grit. We will be happy to help you find the best solution for your case.

Cutting discs can either have a flat center (T41) or a depressed center (T42).
