Alox (Aluminium Oxide) is the most common type of abrasive. It is an excellent starting point for most applications. It is the ideal solution when you want the ability to resist fracturing and medium aggressiveness. It is durable, with resistant cutting edges, showing continuous wear.

Lightweight and flexible, A or B papers are mainly used for manual operations or to support delicate, fine-grained operations. They can be prepared for wet work.

The indicated grits are the most common for the operations in question, but they do not exhaust all available alternatives. We will be happy to help you find the best solution for your case.

The indicated diameters are the most common in the industry. OTA has many more dimensions available, as it produces formats tailored to the needs of its customers.

The backing of the abrasive in fabric (Vel) is the most common application in Europe and is designed to allow the use of discs or sheets on equipment or plates with a Velcro® type system to allow easy, quick and reusable fastening. The type of fabric is always adjusted to the abrasive in question and comes in a wide range of weights and strengths.
The self-adhesive solution (Ad) on the back of the abrasive, typically of PSA type, enable a similar application to Vel, and is intended for specific operations, such as high precision. Adhesion is an important variable and OTA has several options available. It is typically used on discs and sheets.
